Blogging is hard.

Right now I have four separate blogs, and I kind of don't know what to do with myself.  None of them is being updated all that frequently.  The only reason I've been using my tumblog at all is because I can do it from my phone, which is pretty much the greatest feature in the world.

I started a new livejournal yesterday.  I wrote a massively long post,  but then I felt paranoid and made it friends-only even though I don't have any friends.  It might be a good way to exercise having a private voice and giving myself a space to say whatever I want about whoever I need to talk about (Why do I feel like it needs to be published to the Internet?).  This is precisely the issue I seem to have with blogging...for the most part, I like to have conversations with individuals, rather than simply writing to a generic audience.  Pop quiz, Casey.  What's more difficult: having a generic audience or no audience at all?

The thing is, I really like the idea of having a regular log of what's happening with me.  I think that this might encourage me to be more creative and to actually have something to say, rather than living the same dull existence every single day.  (Doubtful.)  It's time to get up and start moving around...my life is boring, but sitting at my computer isn't going to make it any more exciting.  I live in one of the coolest cities I've ever been to, and I rarely take advantage of this.  God, I really need to stop whining and do something exciting.
